Talangkah Village Receives the Desa Cinta Statistik Award

Talangkah, 11 December 2025 — The BPS-Statistics Katingan Regency officially presented the Desa Cinta Statistik (Desa Cantik) Award Certificate to the Government of Talangkah Village as an expression of appreciation for its active participation in the Desa Cantik program. The certificate, signed directly by the Head of BPS-Statistics Indonesia, serves as national recognition for villages that are considered successful in fostering a culture of statistics within their governance practices. In 2025, Talangkah Village earned the title of Second Best Desa Cantik Implementation in Kalimantan Tengah.

The award ceremony was held in a simple yet meaningful event at the Talangkah Village. The certificate was formally presented by the Head of BPS Katingan Regency, Khalid Zuhri, and received directly by the Head of Talangkah Village, Duserman. The event was also attended by the Village Secretary, the Coordinating Supervisor, and the Talangkah Village Statistical Agents.

The Desa Cantik program is an initiative of BPS aimed at improving villages’ literacy and capability in data management, enabling them to formulate development plans independently and sustainably. Throughout 2025, Talangkah Village actively participated in all program activities, including basic statistical training, field data collection, and the utilization of statistics in preparing village publications.

This achievement is the result of the dedicated efforts of BPS supervisors, statistical agents, village officials, and the full support of the Talangkah community. The synergy of all parties has been the key factor behind the village’s success at the provincial level. With this award, Talangkah Village is expected to further strengthen its role as a model village that prioritizes data in every stage of development planning. The spirit of building a progressive, transparent, and accountable village is hoped to continue growing and bring positive impacts to the community’s overall well-being.
